Does One Size Fit All? It Depends.

Most consumers know they need at least some form of life insurance protection. We all know that Term Life Insurance is used to protect those temporary insurance needs: a mortgage until it is paid, college needs for children, and income replacement during the income-earning years.

However, as consumer needs evolve, so do the options available -- therefore, traditional life products are getting a face lift. Example: Universal Life Survivor Coverage (GULS).

Do you need protection for one or more of these five things? If so, does your current coverage provide it?

  1. Estate Settlement Costs. These costs are typically highest after the second death and can protect your family from these sometimes high costs.

  2. Safeguarding Assets. You can help ensure the estate plan operates as intended for surviving heirs with GULS.

  3. Protecting Special-Needs Children. GULS can provide the financial resources to assist with care after both parents pass away.

  4. Business Planning Needs. The death of the second owner, or key employee, may jeopardize an otherwise successful business.  GULS can provide financial support during this critical time.

  5. Preserve Charitable Gifts. Do you or your spouse have a passion for certain charities dear to you? Your charitable gift can be preserved efficiently and economically without impacting your estate plan.

Protecting yourself and your family with life insurance is a important. However, protecting yourself and your family with the right kind of life insurance protection is most important. Ensure that your advisor is aware of your individual needs and financial planning goals and presents and educates you on competitive coverage choices. We're betting one size doesn't fit all -- and we know you and your family's needs are worth protecting with coverage that fits just right.
